This was on Ch4 news
just now Taliban Gunman got on her bus
asked which one she was and shot her in the Head and Neck.
The Taliban does not want Girls Learning or being western.

She is alive.

"One of the girls pointed to Malala, but the activist denied it was her. The gunman shot both of the girls."

The Taliban have threatened to shoot her again if she recovers.

The Taliban, a tribe of religious fanatics are determined to murder this innocent young girl because she wants to be educated. What a sad strange perversion of a religion they practice. Many Pakistanis are now openly demonstrating against these people, maybe this incident could be the "tipping" point...!!!!

Lets hope so, it's about time the women and girls in these parts of the world started getting treated like human beings.

Saw a news report on this, such a remarkable young woman.

How wonderfully brave are the women protesting in Afghanistan and Pakistan? What guts it must take for them to stand up to be counted in the midst of a regime that oppresses them to such an extent.

That's what scares these cowards most - that these women and young girls are braver and stronger than the lot of them put together. One day the women will prevail - it is inevitable. It is just a matter of time.

She won the Nobel Peace Prize today (well, it was shared with Indian child rights campaigner Kailash Satyarthi as well)

You all know my views on these inhuman terrorist bastards. They are losing their support -- even among Muslims worldwide -- and are increasingly being universally condemned by the same. Once bullies lose their 'backing' and their victims unite and stand up to them, they lose their power.

The downside is, that these **** Cnt cowards will become more atrocious in the crimes which they perpetrate, and less selective in their targets, in a desperate attempt to maintain the 'terror' factor which is their most potent weapon. They have already long waged terror against civilians and non-combatants, so hence their marked concentration on woman and children.

I will stand by my view that 'seek and destroy' and 'shoot to kill ' policies are the only solution to these bestial butchers. Total eradication.
