A nun has been caught on tape apparently stealing alcohol.

A woman dressed in a nun's outfit was captured on CCTV appearing to be shoplifting beer from a US convenience store.

The 'nun' is seen opening a refrigerator door and taking a can of beer, before coyly looking around and putting it into her garment.

She then proceeds to take out a bottle of water from another refrigerator before returning to steal another can of lager.

The video - uploaded on YouTube on October 6 - does not state which store the film was taken from, or whether the woman was an actual nun or simply a lady wearing a costume.
