lol awesome :wavey: i have a welsh mate from west wales whose party piece is he can say this clearly on karaoke, it usually gets him free booze , the town translates as
"St Mary's church in the hollow of the white hazel near to the rapid whirlpool and the church of St Tysilio of the red cave"
ive got a joke too
a traveller goes to Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysilio gogogoch and goes for a take away, he asks the waiter , excuse taffy old chap could you please tell me the name of this place and say it very slowly, the waiter looks at him quizically and says ever so slowly, B...U....R....G...E....R....K....I....N....G:dance :

I always thought Staines was a daft name for a place.
