people need to stop drinking and spending all their money on fags or taking meow meow and stop wasting time and money on tatooes and sunbeds and just go to work...if you cant find work (which I dont believe) then make your own work, get on a course that gets you a forklifts license, or minibus license, theres always driving work, delivering or taxi work or bus work. or start a business. buy a lawn mower print 1000 business cards and take them door to door , dont overprice, do a good job, be reliable and word of mouth will get you work always. etc

Starbucks need to pay some tax and quick;).

No wonder there is all this cost cutting etc with the money the government uses to pay out on the different types of benefits and we have seen time and time again how the scroungers like to take advantage, it is a shame for the people whose claims are genuine that people like them drag the country down.

Who are the scroungers? The corporates who pay no tax? The MPs who fiddle their expenses. Single mothers who dare to have children they cant pay for. I'd rather my taxes went to kids than wars!

My gripe is employers who treat you like s**t because they know, or assume, that you can't get a job anywhere else.

a) There are jobs if you keep looking and are patient;
b) Should the good times roll around again, they will regret treating their employees so badly;
c) Not the way to treat loyal, hardworking staff, who are thus turned into people who turn up just for the wage packet and don't even recommend the company to a friend.

Rant over.

rubbish. what do you know about the pressure of running businesses? the expenses? the over heads? the insurances? the marketing\? the wages? the running costs? the capital outlay? the vat? the tax? the accountancy bills? the minute to minute problems and pressures 24 hours a day? the problems of dealing with staff who dont turn up or pull sickies? or rip you off or steal ? the presure in a recession of trying to cover all of these expense and paying all these wages and still actually making enough profit to pay your own mortgage and bills and pay for your kids etc etc etc

the pressure is unbelievable, yet all we hear about is the pressure on the poor individuals ? try running a company and being responsible for 20+ or 50+ jobs as well as all the bills and complying to each and every new law and regulation (there are 100s more in the past decade under labour)

judging by your post you know little of all this, try it sometime and I guarantee , you will look back one day at your post and realise how little you understood about running businesses
