Children at a US school have been suspended after they accidentally saw topless pictures of their teacher.

The photos found their way onto the school iPad that pupils have access to during lessons, The Sun reports.

Four pupils that were using the iPad at the time clicked on the folder and opened the naked pictures, resulting in their suspension.

It is believed the photos transferred over to the iPad after the teacher's iPhone accidentally synced with the device.

13-year-old Joshua Troutt was one of the four pupils suspended over the incident. He told a local TV station an image of his teacher's bare chest appeared on screen unexpectedly when his classmate pressed a button.

He said: "The picture showed up of the teacher topless. It's not our fault that she had the photo on there.

"We couldn't do anything to not look at it, if it just popped up when he pressed the button."

Parents of the suspended children are said to be furious over the decision. The school has taken action against the teacher in question but they have refused to give further details.

That's utterly ridiculous, why are the kids being suspended, beggars belief :conf:

The teacher should have to face a few questions herself.

Maybe she caught them having a danger wank over it?

Seriously though...how ridiculous. When they're sent back to school I hope they receive a personal apology from the teacher and headteacher and a small bit of compensation. And no I'm not joking, it's ridiculously unfair to pass the blame onto some innocent kids.

This is ridiculous. The teacher should be suspended, not the pupils.
