It happened last year with Speak Now, but not this extreme! I bet singers are purposely going to avoid Taylor Swifts release date for her next album, they don't want to be pushed 15 places down!!

Because she makes catchy songs and all her songs or most are about exboyfriends or at least her breakup songs and people try to figure out which breakup song is which.

Not to mention Country takes up half the music market over here.
