No actually, Diamond was in the singoff last week and Demi didn't Wussy out like Nicole (A Bit Relunctant tho because they were both good acts, She did pause for a sec about sending it to deadlock, which would be justified in this situation IMO). Diamond wasn't even crying, I think she knew she was going home if she was in the singoff. She didn't do it the first time as well at the top 16

Also Demi must love 5H for singing her song also they actually harmonized in the singoff. Which is probably why LA eliminated Diamond. Because LA said they were more like Fifth Unison instead of Harmony

actually it depends on the carrier. Mine's Verizon (The US version's Phone Sponsor) and I have a unlimited plan for Text and Call so it's free for me. Also I drink Pepsi alot. And they're the main sponsor for the US version. I dunno if X Factor has to do with me drinking Pepsi alot. :laugh:

Text costs .99 bucks for a text for Verizon callers only. The Text doesn't count if it not's Verizon.

There's a Huge downside for voting on X Factor. Unlimited Voting for 2 hours straight via four methods (Call, Text, Xtra Factor App, Facebook)

On the Voice US it's 10 per method (4 ways, Text, Call, Online, iTunes) I wish it was similar to that.

In Case Anyone's wondering we do have a Xtra Factor Show. It's just not called Xtra Factor. It's the Pepsi PreShow and it's live online before the performance Liveshow.

The Show is heavily advertised over here. Pepsi has The X Factor on all it's drinks and there's a rewards program for gear and tickets to the final. And I see X Factor Ads on FOX all the time. Also on Cable and Radio (It's a rarity to see shows advertise on rival stations. Like No NBC shows ad on FOX, No ABC ads on CBS, Etc. )

BTW Sorry for the info dump. I figured I may as well talk about how the show works or is advertising over here.

The show is always #2 in the overall ratings for the 7:00 PM timeslot but it's always #1 in the 18-49 demo. It's down from last year considerably and I bet it'll affect the budget for Season 3.

I don't think Verizon or Pepsi will split from X Factor because Idol and The Voice both have Cell and Drink Sponsors. (Idol has AT&T and Coke and The Voice has Sprint and Starbucks.)

Pepsi pays to have the glasses on the table, it might be blurred for the UK version. Coke pays Idol to do the same. they don't have to have Pepsi in the cups, it can be water just as long as they're drinking it from the cup.

Also the lines close two hours after the show ends in each of the timezones Phone Numbers have a different area code that how they know not to count that vote (For example A Phone Number in New York State would be 1-212-###-####). America has four timezones and West coast can't get to the telly at 5 PM so they get a tape delayed show. Which is also why we don't have the results on the same night (Basically what the East Coast Saw with naughty words bleeped out in case they slipped through on East Coast.)

The Most Recent Idol winner, Phillip Phillips, had a little bit of promotion of his winner's single, "Home" during the US coverage of the olympics. It became Top 10 then faded away, he just recently released his album and it's now number #1 again.

I bet they'll be shown off during the finale (Isn't there now some deal where the XFUK winner gets to perform on the USXF Final now anyway?)

Saw the performances. These final few contestants are actually disappointing. Heard such great things about this series, but Carly and Vino aside no one has been all too special.

Based on performances the girl group deserve to stay the most.

The overall one has 5H going but that's usually inaccurate during Idol so I look at Raw Numbers. (Phone Votes)
