Bit premature but what the hell.

2.2m. All depends on the launch line-up rumours though.

With jeffy ford gone as controller, I hope the new man in charge spends a fair budget on advertising similar to a year ago. The launch should then exceed 3mil possibly 3.5 and I think the average will be up to around 2.4 with the final rating around 2.9 mil.

If he uses that tactic with normal bb instead of just cbb, then you could argue with no Olympics or euros, nxt summers normal edition could be the first to average 2mil on chn 5.

In light of pretty much all 5 programming struggling to hit a mil, and Dallas getting viewers lower then bb, five could do much worse then invest in its biggest show.

Depends on who is going in really. If meatloaf goes in then we'd probably be looking at around the 3.5 mill mark.

Launch wise, I reckon 3.2-3.4 million. A series average of around 2.5 million and a finale of 2.8.

It seems like they are gonna advertise early and heavily, so with that in mind what do you think the ratings gonna be?

I reckon that IF they start promoting in the next week, it will hit around the same figures for the launch of CBB9

For the launch? Considering that the second CBB last year (which was in the late summer) got 2.7, I highly doubt it.

I'm revising my prediction, perhaps the new controller doesn't want BB on the channel and will not spend any of the budget on marketing it. Would seem no advertising/hype is going to be built up for the launch.

So for that reason i'm going with a 2.0 launch figure and an average of 1.7. :(, it could acheive better if five shown it some love...

Last year? Do you mean the summer just gone?

There has been no promo or hype whatsoever for this CBB even Jamie East said there had not even been an advert filmed for it.

No billboards, no tv commercials...NOTHING so how can anyone expect people to tune in if they arnt even aware its on?

I would be suprised if it even got 2 million. Channel 5 have gotten very lazy which is a shame seeing as last year they promoted the **** out of it.
