a uninsured middle class american guy in his 50s had a heart attack and spent 36 hours in hospital, he was also found to have diabetes....he then got a bill for $56000 for this 36 hours treatment

a year later the poor guy was diagnosed with testicular cancer and was told treatment would cost him $110,000 ?

in the mean time his house value fell to $130,000 so he was about to sell his home in order to try and fight cancer?

This is what this election is about. lifeand death for 50 million americans and their children and their childrens children etc

quite why obama hasnt really milked this situation and really promoted obamacare better is a mystery. to me hes been too cautious here and let the radical right wing stop him from really show boating about obamacare...

he should be shouting it from the rooftops, obamacare is the greatest thing any american president has ever done imho

American road trip - Matt Frei

Watch from 24 minutes to 28 minutes

Uninsured american man has heart attack, is charged $56,000 for his 36 hours in hospital
then told he needs cancer treatment, that will cost him $110,000
Meanwhile his property value has fallen to $130,000 , so even if he sells his home and lives in a box, he still cant afford to get treatment

Under obamacare he would be covered as would approx 50 million uninsured americans, romnesia wants to abolish all of obamacare.

This is something 2 legendary welsh geniuses sorted out last century, the visionary Lloyd george invented and implemented contributions and the welfare state 100 years ago and the great Neu Bevan fully implemented the NHS 60 odd years ago!
Not a day goes by when I dont heartily rejoice the 2 pionerring giants!

Now tell me this election doesnt matter?
