Hogan filed suit against Gawker for $100 million (£61.2m) for allegedly illegally posting sections of a sex tape featuring the wrestler and friend Bubba the Love Sponge's ex-wife Heather Clem.
He also sought damages from Bubba the Love Sponge - real name Todd Alan Clem - and his estranged wife Heather for allegedly recording him without permission.
Bubba the Love Sponge initially responded by speculating that Hogan might have leaked the tape himself, but now a settlement has been reached between the two parties.
There have been no financial terms of the settlement released, but TMZ has obtained a letter written by Bubba the Love Sponge in which the radio host claims that he no longer thinks Hogan released the footage.
"It is my belief that Hulk is not involved, and has not ever been involved, in trying to release the video, or exploit it, or otherwise gain from the video's release in any way," Bubba wrote in the letter.
He continued: "[I'm] committed to helping Hulk and his attorneys find whoever is responsible for the release of the tape."
Hogan is still seeking damages from Bubba the Love Sponge's ex-wife Heather.
The wrestler previously contacted the FBI to help him discover who gained access to the explicit footage.
