I've been saying this since (this season) roughly ohhh, ages ago.

Is it a popularity contest where the nicest person wins, or the human being with the best game plan who could do anything to win the prize.

IF people want to see a more interesting programme, then BB have to change the rules.

*Bring in tactical voting. Let them talk about nominations and why people voted, start it right at the very beginning. This will ensure very few shy people in the first week, and will bring out the game players and the schemers and the like. This is after all what the game was about was it not?

*Vote to keep people in. Ensuring the actual popular person stays in and not necessarily the most disliked for (there are exceptions), playing the game well.

*Many many more tasks during the week, each contributing a share to the final weekly prize. This will keep the housemates from having to work together and then the evening gossip can begin. It will also relieve the incessant boredom housemates have had to endure for the past several seasons.

* How about mini houses. Vote one or two people in from each "house" to enter the main Big Brother house. Public vote, not HM vote. The public will only have themselves to blame if boring people enter the house.

Just my two cents, and I wish I saw Emma.

I think, despite what people say about keeping the entertainers in the house, the viewers always have voted to keep in the housemates they like (by voting out the ones they dislike) rather than keeping in the big characters who also might be annoying.

Generally you find that when someone advocates keeping an 'entertainer' it's because they also like that housemate.

Viewers find it extremely difficult to keep in a housemate that they dislike or annoys them.

you my friend would enjoy the US version like myself! its a REAL competition, unlike the UK version.

emma is right though, but johnny public dont realise & will never realise! look at last year, makosi by far was the most entertaining HM, if you liked her or not she made BB worth watching. & the year before that, nadia winning - please! that BB belonged to jason & victor, they was like 2 old women lol they made me laugh. BB need to step up a gear big time because its pants. it has its moments but overall its poor. people are just going in there for the BB experience, but really they should be going in there to win the prize money. yeah thats a point, how much is the prize money?
