Probably the most popular star wars film, ITV1 3:15pm tommorow, they've gone through the whole saga from Phantom Menace over the past few weeks

Don't remember Yoda being so weird when he first meets Luke..suppose he's nearly gone senile living on his own for 20 years or so

I've never been a star wars fan. It's like Dallas in space. It's a soap opera. It's a bunch of dramatic fight scenes, followed by a bunch of melodramatic relationship scenes. Let's face it, Star Wars was never good.
I've always preferred Star Trek, much more intellectually stimulating. Star Trek actually has interesting moral dilemmas, and you can't just fight your way out of a problem with light sabers and weapons. on Star Trek you actually have to think about a problem and all of the different complexities, and in the end, you are still left feeling like there is no "right" answer to the problems.
Star Trek >>>>>>>> Star Wars

They could do alot of with star trek with all the episodes though, you can't really fit alot into a 2 hour movie really

That's a good point, i havn't even seen Star Wars since i was a kid.
I didn't watch any of the newest ones because even star wars fans were like "these movies suck!" so i was like, well if even Star Wars FANS are saying they suck, then why should I watch them,? I didn't even like the first 3 star wars films.

I disagree, I think Star Trek (especially next generation and voyager) did more in an hour on TV than any of the Star Wars movies did in 2 hours on a MUCH bigger budget.
Star Trek had a minuscule budget compared to Star Wars, but they created much better characters and more interesting stories.
