Zee is the youngest winner; Niamh is the oldest - Niamh is also the only female winner and the only Irish winner.
Shaun is the only one to have won twice. GypsyGoth has the unfortunate distinction of coming 2nd three times; coming second each time Shaun won, and also behind Niamh, denying her the chance to be the first female winner.

I have a very important announcement to make.

One of this year's finalists has decided to withdraw for personal reasons which I completely support and understand, therefore taking our list down to 49. There are two courses of action available to me here:

1) I utilise the nominations sent to me by Niall which I received moments after I announced the nominations were closed for Round 1, which would give another person 3 nominations to replace the withdrawing member.

2) I ask all of those who voted for the withdrawing member to give me another name and hope that this doesn't give us more than one person who has 3 nominations (because you all know who got 1/2 noms) - and then in the likely event that it does, post a public poll to see who gets to be #50.

What do you think? I'm leaning towards option 1) rather than 2) because it's easier. Also, once this has been decided upon, I'll be allowing anyone who has thus far voted to update their votes accordingly if they voted for the withdrawing member, or they wish to vote for the member who replaces them.

It becomes a nightmare for me to paste into Excel, because in an excel doc that little 2 person vote chunk takes up 5 lines; I have to cut the reason up into the line with the name in it, then move 2. Mollie up two lines to beneath 1. Shaun and cut the reason into 2. Mollie, I can't do a straight copy and paste job either because the smileys take about 10 minutes to paste into Excel and there've been so many times when I've accidentally copied one and lost the Excel document due to it crashing. If it doesn't crash, I have to wait like 10 minutes for the smiley to paste so I can delete it (bearing in mind I can't do anything while it's frozen) and it totally ****s up the pasting even more. I don't like having numbers in front of them, or 10 points - Shaun/9 points - Mollie, because it means I can't read the name once I've pasted another set of votes next to it.

You can change your votes if you want to but I'd appreciate it if you didn't because I'm not going to let people take the piss with it, I think it was like 2 competitions ago Scott PMed me once every other day removing/adding people based on who he had fallen out with on that particular day and then would add them again about a day later, after the third time I said I wasn't accepting any more changes iirc.

It's really annoying when people leave it until the last possible minute to send their votes in because it delays me writing up the paragraphs and doing the formatting, but that's what the deadline is there for. I'm closing votes on the Thursday so I have that evening/Friday to do all of the paragraphs and then probably host the countdown on the Saturday, or perhaps on the Friday depending on how well that goes.
