President Obama will win re-election, Fox News projects. The call comes after the president was the projected winner in the crucial battleground of Ohio, and subsequently won both Iowa and Oregon. This put Obama over the required 270 electoral votes.

I see where you're coming from because I'm not American either but it's a big thing for me and my family as I have family/friends in America.

Besides, I've always supported Obama as a president; he may not be perfect but he's helped a lot

Great Result for America and the rest of the World, Obama for me represents the best possible leader for the US at this time.

Great acceptance speech from Obama and nice to see Romney also give a warm acceptance to Obama's victory, very magnanimous in defeat.

http://uk.news.yahoo.com/comment/ticket/trump-election-meltdown-twitter-obama-march-washington-054449245--election.html

"Barack Obama is the least transparent president in the history of this country," Trump said in a widely mocked October video shot from his New York office and uploaded to YouTube. "I'm very honored to have gotten him to release his long-form birth certificate or whatever it may be."

What a ******

Plus, and I realise how unsavoury this will sound, but Mitt's connection to the Mormon church was for me a cause for concern. That is an organisation that has lied to and deceived it's own members and covered up issues from it's past.

Anyone who has studied various cults will be aware of some of those issues.

Had Mitt got in, who is to say what influence they would have tried to wield from behind the scenes.

Barak was the best option there was.

Obama is religious and hes great so I dont concur with anti - religious zealotry. though specifically the mormon church probably has the same level of corruption as most other places. doesnt make it all bad. they do lots of great work in america and worldwide, as do all churches.

I needed sleep so did not watch, although Mitt Romney congratulated Barack Obama on the win in his losing speech or was that to save face?

Just be careful not to destroy the church simply to play to the radical liberal audience on sites like this. all they talk about here is the bad in the church, they ignore the millions of great things the Church does worldwide.

But then an organisation can cultivate a public image which takes people in while hiding it's darker side.

Meanwhile I found this film on YouTube of which I have a copy on video

87Mr0TqrEf8

I also discovered that there is a sequel which was filmed about ten years later and the revelations were even worse.

gM4imfc-lf8

There is even the case where a radio station did an expose of the church, so they bought the radio station and fired the presenter. So much for the American Freedom of Speech.

Watch those films and you will understand why some of us were relieved that Romney lost.

US President Barack Obama has won the presidential vote in Florida - widening his electoral victory margin over Republican rival, Mitt Romney.

The vote count in the only state which had not declared a result from Tuesday's election gave Mr Obama 50% to Mr Romney's 49.1%, according to Florida state department figures.

Mr Obama has now won 332 electoral college votes - Mr Romney has 206.
