MOSCOW, Nov. 7 (Xinhua) -- Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday congratulated President Barack Obama on his victory in the U.S. presidential election.

"In general, the Kremlin positively reacted to the information about Barack Obama's re-election," said Dmitry Peskov, spokesman for the president, adding that Putin planned to talk to his U.S. counterpart soon.

"We hope positive undertakings in bilateral relations and in Russia-U.S. cooperation on the world arena will grow in the interests of international security and stability," Peskov said.

Meanwhile, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev also responded to the results of the U.S. elections, calling the incumbent Obama "a clear and predictable partner."

"Personally, I am very glad that the United States won't be led by a man who views Russia as its enemy number one," Medvedev told reporters during his visit to Hanoi.

President Vladimir Putin's contribution to Russia can never be overstated, the Man has almost single handedly rescued Russia from the grip of the Western Capitalistic Corporate onslaught. He is without doubt one of the most intelligent forward thinking tacticians , a man who has proved he can play the game of global politics and time and time again he gets the best deal for Russia.

The best President Russia could want for and they are lucky to have him.

President Obama is no fool either and similarly the US are lucky to have him, but if comparing the two I would put Putin head and shoulders above Obama at this point in time.
