What type of christmas tree's do you prefer?

Do you like them fake or real, thin or fat/wide?

Green, white, blue, pink or another colour?

I like to stick with the traditional green ones, but it has to be wide with no big gaps between the branches and I also prefer to add my own lights and decorations so no fibre optic ones for me.

I prefer real trees but we have a fake one. It's green but it's got fibre optic lights on the tip of the branches

We're pretty much the same as you Josy, always get a real one that's wideish and not too sparse, and add our own decorations each year

Fake green realistic looking tree... although I did consider one if these pencil trees this year just to create more space, but Dave said it looked "****ing ridiculous" :)

I meant just the traditional green colour, I can't be doing with real ones any more, the last time we had one we were still standing on the odd pine needle months later

Fake green are fine too though, we have had them before :)
hate the gold/silver ones they look so tacky

Fake tree now for less mess but realistic looking... It is prelit with berries on as I am so anal about light spacing being perfectly even it made sense to get one that was already done right. I have traditional colour scheme of red gold and green and a star on top. Make a full night of putting it up every year, ooh this is making me excited.

One of my neighbours put their tree up last night - ridiculous.

I prefer real ones, they look so much better but I couldnt be arsed with all the hoovering and stuff that comes with it. We have a crappy fake green one that gets utterly attacked with tinsel so you can hardly even see the green :joker:

I've got two massive Christmas trees outside my house, they're about 30' tall. I've got a tree surgon taking them down at the beginning of December and they're going up on two local village greens. I feel strange about them going... but they're kind of fulfilling their destiny.

I bought a fibre optic one a few years back cost me a bit too, thought the kids would love it ... they both cried when I said you don't decorate them.
So we put our old twiggy tree up instead haha!

Just a typical green tree with many decorations.

Fake tree, because the plastic is better for the environment. And lots of decorations :D

fake tree cause you rarely get a nice looking real one

and I like it when the fake ones already have the lights on, because then all you need to add is the tinsel and baubles
