Just been to get some money out of the cashpoint and heard a couple of people at the bus-stop saying John Prescott is going in the BB house!?!.

They had a newspaper and were looking at it, don't know which one though.

Anyone heard anything on this lines? If he did go in, would he even be any good, or a huge letdown. Do we really want another politician in the house?

Oh please, mind you in career in politics is over, and these people never seem to have enough money, so for the right price I reckon they would get him...

He'd probably have a lot to offer, especially if he does this again

He will drive the viewers mad likely but ironically I could see him being quite funny in the house.
He'd likely annoy a good few of the others too.

John Prescott lined up for Celebrity Big Brother

Lord John Prescott is to take part in 'Celebrity Big Brother'.
The 74-year-old former Deputy Prime Minister - who last week lost a bid to be voted police commissioner in Humberside - is being targeted by show bosses who think his no-nonsense style would make for perfect viewing.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "'Celebrity Big Brother' would be the perfect platform for Lord Prescott to get his opinions across to the public on his terms. He doesn't suffer fools and that would make it 'must watch' TV.''
If he does take part, John would be the fourth political figure to compete on the fly-on-the-wall show, following in the footsteps of Respect MP George Galloway, 58, Scottish socialist Tommy Sheridan, 48, and Sally Bercow, 42, the wife of the House of Commons speaker.
John isn't the first person to be linked with the new series of the show.
Last month it was claimed 'Bat Out Of Hell' hitmaker Meat Loaf was on producers' wish list.
A source said: "He's a huge name around the world so we're desperate to get him in the house.
"We know fans would love to see him and he would be TV gold. We want this series to be the best yet."
Celebrity Big Brother returns to Channel 5 in January

A pity, he'd of been tv gold. And tbf after his humilating loss in the recent elections to mostly unknowns etc, his rep can't really be tarnished anymore then what it is. He most certainly would of made front page in most if not all the press papers.

Oh well, a shame...

Ah, the old "a source told the Daily Star" routine.

They made it up.
