i backed him to win the competition, i had written him off after the weekends activities, would be an absolute touch if i got a refund. Never backed someone who has had to pull out due to ill health, anyone else experienced this?

Even if I like someone on these reality type shows, imo if they can't hack it, have a weakness that doesn't allow them to endure the show, then let them go. If it is truely a medical thing though, then the producers are at fault not to pick up on a medical condition in the first place, unless the Celeb hasn't been too honest with them. I suppose this leaves the door open for a new Celeb now if the rumour is true that Brian has quit on medical grounds.

The two men came to blows after David, 32, was stoking the camp fire and flicked two burning logs out of the grate and onto the forest floor.

Brian Conley has become the first star to leave the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! jungle... after quitting over a mystery illness.

The comedian has left the show due to feeling unwell.

An ITV spokeswoman said: 'Brian Conley has left the jungle due to medical reasons,' but refused to go into more detail.

He probably didn't want to face being first out by public vote.

It's a shame because he would have made it far in the show.

he did look a bit peeky in there, the lack of nourishment can have serious effects if you have any health issues. shame he was one of the more interesting characters, certainly more than the posh bloke

Brian Conley's wife is demanding answers from I'm A Celebrity bosses as to why they didn't act sooner once it became clear that her husband was beginning to experience health problems, it has been claimed.

The comedian's wife, Anne-Marie, who flew to his bedside on Monday with his two teenage daughters, is said to be furious with bosses after the 51-year-old's sudden onset of health problems caused him to be removed from the show - which came soon after his two bizarre arguments with co-stars.

I'm A Celeb bosses have remained tight-lipped on how Brian, who has spoken publicly about his history of depression, was allowed to take part in the demanding reality show.

Brian's sudden collapse has worried show bosses, who have been accused of neglecting their 'duty of care' after the vulnerable comic was seen breaking down onscreen.

A show source told The Sun: 'Anne-Marie couldn't believe how much he'd changed after ten days in the jungle. He looks really unwell and vulnerable.

The source added that Anne-Marie was initially supportive of Brian's decision to go on the show to revive his flagging career, but is said to be regretting his decision.

That's sad news .....
