Vettel!
Gav wants Alonso though
Alonso can take it and then warm it for Lewis until next season
Niamh.

hahaha, after he moves to Mercedes? I don't think so ^
Rosberg and Hamilton will be the dream team

Hamilton went there for the long haul, he needs the spotlight off him go to merc be quiet for a year or two and then win a world title with them.

Also it gives me at least another year to find someone to support....theres nobody I really like except maybe Perez but I couldnt support McLaren.... I am warming to Alonso though but I think if he wins it on Sunday he'll leave after next year, he only wants 3 titles.

He's great but I dont think I want another few years of dominance....we had that with michael and people say it killed the sport....I wouldnt mind if he won 6 world title though.....I dont have to worry about Michaels record being broken until 2016 at the earliest....

Him moving to Ferrari in 2014 might be interesting too, see how he does in a different car

Sour Grapes Lk :idc: If, Buts, whys............boo hoo
Yeah it's pretty obvious judging from this year Alonso is the better driver but you don't win Championships by being the better driver anymore, the car does the talking, LK is right

You need a good car and to be a good driver..............Webber is driving a Red Bull as well :idc:

You need to be a capable driver but you don't need to be a great driver to win a Championship like that and he got more then Luck on the way he got Miracles gifted to him all season.. not an impressive Championship win, says it all when the BBC show footage of all the luck he had right at the end of tonight's race
LK is even being kind to Vettel when he says at least 50 points i'd say more about 70/80

Vettel is an amazing driver, see how he controlled his car after he spun, a lesser driver would have went out permanently after that

Webber did the same today, Vettel is just the ultimate opportunist who takes advantage of other people's bad luck, Alonso is just pure class who had no luck all year but still made it go to the wire

Lets be honest Vettel is quite possibly the luckiest champion ever. In the last 3 races alone Vettel has had 2 major crashes yet had no major damage and due to crashes and safety cars was able to climb back regardless of his poor driving
Both in the same Cars Alonso would beat him 9/10 he is that much better. Come on he beat Alonso by only 3 points when he has a car leagues better

Prime Michael is the only driver better then Fernando

Wildcat like i said earlier i think only a prime Michael was better then fernando what he did with that ferrari car this year is quite possibly the greatest ever performance by a driver

What an epic race....it was magic from start to finish.
It's a strange sort of coincidence that I've ended my Formula One career now in P7, which was my first ever qualifying result at Spa-Francorchamps 308 races ago. It also occurs to me that I was driving with the number seven on my car today and that I have seven world championship trophies in my cabinet.
:bawling:
I have so much respect for Schumacher.....the way he was so happy for Vettel......
I also admire Vettel thats two stunning drives this year to keep the title alive.....
So I need a driver to block vettel next year to keep michaels 5 in a row alive....

I agree that in order to be a champ in Racing that you have to have a good car.
There's a driver in NASCAR's Sprint Cup (Highest Level of Stock Car in the US) that won the championship 5 times. (IMO only 2 times deservedly but I do admit he's a good driver) because he's had a good car.
Thanks to NASCAR having multiple cautions a race, It's also good to have a good Pit Crew. I went to a race this year and one driver spun out (The same driver mentioned above) and messed up the back of his car. Any Normal Crew couldn't get that car fixed in a jiffy without going 3 to 4 laps down. His crew had to take multiple pit stops under caution/safety car laps but they were able to fix his car and stay on the lead lap and finish in the top 10 out of 43 cars.

do kind-of wish he hadn't come back and ended with a mid-table season :( but fair play to him anyway.
I didn't agree with him letting Vettel pass when they aren't even on the same team if that pass decided the Championship it would have been terrible but it didn't so i guess it didn't matter in the end anyway
