Just buy this game, if you have an Xbox, PS3, PC, iPad or iPod then get it. It's probably the best game I've played all year and everyone should experience it. It's an episodic game meaning that it's split into five parts and each part is like a TV episode, the story and characters react and change depending on your actions. It's not an action packed game since the focus is on puzzles and character developement. I'm not doing a good job of explaining it but play it regardless, there's a retail version coming out in December so not having a console hooked up to the internet is no excuse.

Now excuse me while I go into a catatonic state brought on by uncontrollable feels while I recover from the ending.

The Activision game is based on the TV Series and isn't related to this Walking Dead game.

The one you linked is an FPS, Telltale's game is more of an adventure/interactive drama.

Just seen the trailer for it now, that one looks like it's about Daryl and Merle before they met Rick's group :worship:

It's an FPS though, it won't stay true to what Walking Dead is. It'll probably end up like a Left 4 Dead clone.

It's coming out in shops as a complete series in December I think.

Probably would be best if it was a RPG since their are so many Locations, Characters and small stories in the Series and you could make a huge map out of it but i think they'll have a few RPG elements in it anyway

then again every game nowadays seems to steal some sort of RPG element, even Fifa players have started leveling up, Blasphemy if you ask me

That might work, I think what Telltale has done is the best way to go though. The game as a whole felt so true to the source material.
