A woman in Florida who was caught speeding has told authorities that God told her to.
Melissa Miller was stopped by officers in Fort Pierce in the early hours of Tuesday (November 20).
The 41-year-old was driving at 100mph in a 30mph zone and was heard sounding the vehicle's horn for ten seconds.
Miller told the police officer that she was honking because "the Lord [was] telling me to do it", and was speeding because "I was letting the Lord spirit guide me".
The woman's bail has been set at $375 (£235).
