Andy Murray (Olympic gold and silver in singles and mixed doubles tennis, US Open champion)

Mo/Jess please :D
I think Ben Ainslie will win
Odds:
Nicola Adams - 200/1
Katherine Grainger - 200/1
Sarah Storey - 200/1
Ben Ainslie - 150/1
Chris Hoy - 150/1
Rory McIlroy - 100/1
Ellie Simmonds - 50/1
David Weir - 25/1
Jess Ennis - 10/1
Andy Murray - 8/1
Mo Farah - 5/1
Bradley Wiggins - 2/5
Wouldn't have minded another non Olympian or two, would like McIlroy to win but he's got no chance so Murray, Mo or Weir would be good

Ohhh I've been thinking the David Weir people have been nominating in the TiBB Sports Personality thread was the Everton/Rangers player :joker: Was wondering why people had been nominating him

I'd like to see Andy Murray take it, after his worthy battle with Federer at Wimbledon.
Will be an Olympian though.
frankel "the wonder horse" should be on that list

It was inevitable.
Who should have featured?

Don't see Shelvey on there, got his first England cap this year and should be on the shortlist
frankel "the wonder horse" should be on that list
That's actually a pretty good point because what that Horse has achieved surpasses any of what the people have achieved on that list as for the Nominees though Big Ben is the most deserving winner as he has torn his body apart to win 8 World Championships and 4 Olympic Gold Medals in his Career, i don't think people are aware of how demanding Sailing can be though and the 2012 London Gold Medal showdown with the Great Dane was one of the best battles you'll ever see
Too many Olympians. I know they done us proud etc, but come on...
In all Fairness Wiggins would have been there without the Olympics ( TDF Win ) and Murray would have been there without the Olympics ( US Open Win ) and Big Ben won the World Championship this year outside the Olympics

Got to be Wiggo by absolute miles, TDF is the hardest thing of all, and then to win an olympic gold a month later...
and he has the best ''personality'' out of that lot as well
Nah it's just riding a bike

...not sure if serious
The hard work is done by Frome and the gang they basically set it all up for him in each race so he can win

1. wiggins 2. weir 3. Jess
Just noticed that Wiggins is now the 1/3 favorite, pretty sure he went out to Evens when Murray won the US Open, Good odds on the straight forecast of Wiggins/Jess Ennis at 11/4 though
