Comedian in Twitter feud with Chris Brown receives death threats

Jenny Johnson has received death threats from angry Chris Brown fans.

The comedian was involved in an altercation on Twitter with the R&B singer yesterday (November 25), taking him to task for his assault on ex-girlfriend Rihanna and labelling him as "worthless".

Brown responded with a number of aggressive tweets, telling her to "suck his d**k" and saying he would like to "s**t on her retina". He then posted: "Just ask Rihanna if she mad??????", before deactivating his account.

Billboard reports that Brown's decision to leave Twitter led to his fans sending thousands of abusive tweets to Johnson, that included death threats.

One user tweeted: "@JennyJohnsonHi5 **** bitch honestly, i wanna sit on your face and stab 1235 needles in your eyeball, you son of a motherless goat. #bushpig", while another posted: "@JennyJohnsonHi5 who the ****** are you? what the ****** did you do with Chris Brown? GIIIIRL, I HOPE YOU KNOW.. I WILL KILL YOU."

The tweets continued throughout the day as more became aware of Brown's exit from Twitter and became increasingly ferocious, with user Shut up ¡BITCH! writing: "@JennyJohnsonHi5 I would not wish anyone death but I hope you die", and another account titled Twittter Legend™ tweeting: "@JennyJohnsonHi5 I'M GONNA ******ING RAPE & KILL YOU OLD ***** ******".

Johnson herself drew the attention of her followers and the official Twitter account toward the abusive tweets, before joking: "I hope Bono writes a song about me."

It began after Brown posted a photo with the comment: "I look old as ******! I'm only 23..." to which Johnson replied saying, "I know! Being a worthless piece of s**t can really age a person."

Brown responded to her tweet, saying: "Take them teeth out when u Sucking my d**k HOE (sic)." Johnson replied: "It's 'HO' not 'HOE' you ignorant ******."

The argument continued to escalate into vulgarity, with Brown tweeting: "I should fart while ur giving me top."

She replied: "Your mum must be so proud of you," to which Brown said, "Mum says hello... She told me not to shart in ur mouth, wanted me to s**t right on the retina."

Johnson then joked, "YOU FLIRT!!!", before telling her followers: "Okay. I'm done. All I got from that exchange with Chris Brown is that he wants to s**t and fart on me."

She added, "I have zero respect for a person who seems unapologetic for the terrible crime he committed and shows no signs of changing."

Later, Brown wrote: "Just ask Rihanna if she mad??????" Johnson retweeted the comment, adding: "Get some help. Seriously."

Chris Brown later told his followers: "To teambreezy... Know that I'm not upset. Just felt like entertaining the ignorance. These bitches crazy." Shortly afterwards he deactivated his account.

Rihanna later waded into the spat, posting a photo of the timeline of comments, adding: "How does one find the time? We gotta do better than this!!"

To be perfectly honest, I don't see why anyone's jumping on Chris for this, and I say this as someone who hates him and who finds Jenny's tweets hilarious - she CONSTANTLY sends him abuse, yet he finally hits back and suddenly he's the bad guy?
