Good for them. No one has the right to decide whether someone should be allowed to end their own life, so long as the person deciding is of sound mind.

This was a really sad case and Tony's personal suffering was clearly heavily increased by his efforts to be allowed to let his own life go and the rejection he got as to that.
He knew what was going on around him and was able to make that decision,a decision that in fact,he would have been able to make and carry out himself had he been physically able to.
I wish his family success.

I wish them total failure. Its time we spent more time worrying about the tens of thousands of people who die on the nhs via total negligence. we need to be more concerned with the right to live. if a man wants to die there are always ways and means ot acieveing that goal

Wow, you really are something. You want this man to continue his battle, suffering?

This story is so sad, and it's really difficult to even comprehend how he or the family feel right now. If I were in their position I would want to help with his misery.

I feel it as much. But I also feel for the tens of thousands who die in hospitals via neglect. do you feel for these people too? 25000 who died from clots they picked up in hospital throuh negligent nursing? thats before we even discuss do not rescuscitate which is used to let people die? sometimes used without the individuals or the families consent? do you feel equally for these people too? how many more innocens would die with laws to allow killing more people off? there was a report into a vast humber of hospitals recently which showed 15% of patients are not even fed properly, 20% have their care and welfare neglected etc do you care about this too? or do u only care about the populist left wing issues like right to die/

if you care as much as you claim have a read of this and let us know your thoughts?

if theres this mass failure , incompetence and simple lack of care now with tens of thousands of abuses, how many abuses do you think there will be if its open season of the right to kill patients off? there is no way on earth that there can be a fool proof law , we are humans with all our faults. judging by the standards nowadays, you can bet thousands of innocents would die unnecessarily as a result of people like you demanding this law. how much do you care about those thousands who would die unnnecessarily?

Ill bet yu a guinness you avoid all my questions and pretend to be offended?
thats the usual response to counter arguments on here
