I'm torn, I really like them both, but I think American dad just tips it for me

American Dad, not because of the "oh it's not as mainstream so that one" thing like my friends claim is the reason I watch :bored:

I prefer the characters, storylines, everything really. FG is/was very good and the random cutaway gags are obviously superior but I just grew a bit tired of it.

AD! I've watched less of as well, so it's fresher.

I did love Family Guy, but the moment they turned Stewie from a criminal mastermind to a sassy gay just wrote off the show as out of ideas. American Dad! is just about going the same direction now, but they had 7 good seasons. FG had five.

I fell out of love with FG but I've fallen back in love with it again, so I chose FG.

But AD is good as well! The only problem is it can get a bit boring.. the only characters I really like are Roger and Francine.

It is literally the funniest show on tv for one reason only

Probably the funniest character ever to appear in comedy! There are just no limits to him! He will stop at nothing and he consistantly surprises me with what he gets unto! THATS THE KEY when you know a characters limits they become predictable and dull!

Those who cant warm to it NEED to watch the roger centric episodes!
