What popular foods have have you never tasted? For me it's a Scotch egg, they look so nice too, I'm not sure you can even get them over here :(

Yeah, you're really not. I really hate when foods have gristle in them like that or pork pies. :yuk:

A british thing?... but they sound so scottish ;)
They are horrid though niamh, you could have a go at making them? Eggs, sausagemeat and breadcrumbs...bobs your uncle :)
I think some very expensive food sounds so disgusting I would never try them like sweetbreads, caviar, fois gras and oysters yuk!!

I actually looked them up and apparently they were first made in London, strangely enough with a name like that!

I too, have never eaten a scotch egg. I always thought they just looked pikey, so I couldn't bring myself to go near one. Eggs without runny yolks are disgusting, which also doesn't help their appeal.
I've never eaten a pork pie. Cold meat pie covered in jelly? No thank you.

It's probably a Jew thing.
I would like to say I've never eaten a bacon sandwich, but I'd be lying. I'd never eat anything that wasn't cooked or still alive, or a bug of any sort, or any kind of offal. I don't like fish so wouldn't eat anything fishy except tinned tuna, smoked salmon or crab sticks which, as we all know, are proper fish. I would never eat anything like foie gras because it is unnecessarily cruel.

Never tried asparagus
Aren't you a vegetarian? You should try it, it's one of the best vegetables

Jew've got to be kidding?
Foie gras is truly lovely, but I don't eat it anymore. Fish is amazing, but fish and bacon together is the stuff that dreams are made of. So you're a tinned tuna kind of a date, are you? I'll pick you up at 7, and take you to subway.
Anything you want off the six inch menu. What? I'm not made of money.
Although if you play your cards right, you may get the footlong for desert. Unfortunately for me, in 12 installments.
And when you're with me you look at the ****ing ground, you slag. Now cream my back.

Yep I am, I've always wondered what it tasted like but have never gotten round to trying it

It's so nice, you have to cook it right though, it's horrible when it's over cooked

Asparagus is nice but it makes your wee smell strange. As Ammi might say... true story.

I would never want to try snails. I have tried octopus, oysters, crocodile, even scotch eggs, meat pie and asparagus, but I have always wanted to try frogs legs for some reason, and have never got round to it yet.
Jesus.

I've eaten snails. They are actually pretty harmless. Because snails don't taste that great, they completely load up the garlic, so it's basically like eating a really garlicy mushroom, especially as it's a really similar texture.
I've had frogs legs too. Again, pretty average really, and not much too it.
