TFL - the disabled and the buffoon 21.12.12
TFL are on my email list,
my poems they unfortunately receive,
but i am open minded,
this news wont deceive.
many a times i have seen,
bus's refusing to lower there ramp,
this is discrimination,
and hopefully we will out stamp.
£18 million will be invested,
by 2016 95% of all bus's installed,
what a fabulous vision,
lets hope it is not over ruled.
70% will be done,
that's by 2013 spring,
while drivers will get £50 million in training,
more smiley passengers it will bring.
the over ground is also involved,
TFL are as sharp as a blade,
they have predicted 28 stations done,
over the next decade.
charity's are happy,
the difference it will make,
its ok for us "walkers",
but for the disabled its like chicken or steak.
by 2014 on the Hammer-smith,
all will be running,
with 80 new trains,
its going to be stunning.
the "buffoon" praised,
but "further" is Boris's reach,
but what does the reader think,
is TFL plans fantastic or is it a publicity preach.
(i saw this news story last night on the news and i even looked at the website to get the facts for my poem. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-20789278 yes of course i am glad this is happening but i do feel a whole lot more can be done as well as after all, we are meant to have "discrimination acts" . but what does the reader think of the current proposals - is it to little to late or fantastic?)
