We did the opposite way round last year, not having been on the Irish ferry service for years, we were pleasantly surprised at the improvements to travel that has been made. It's way less stressful than going by air. No stripping to your knickers and some jobs worth telling you your plastic bag with toiletries is not the right size, and confiscating the lot.:nono:

Yeah, it's so much less bother, the particular bus I was on didn't even need to go through customs when we got off the Ferry in Wales, basically we got into the UK without even our birth certs/ID or Tickets even glanced at. :joker: Ended up arriving in London an hour early too.

KFC in England tastes so much different to Irish KFC!
I was in ASDA for the first time today and an old lady on a mobility scooter drove to me, she said "GET OUT OF THE WAY NOW PLEASE" and I moved out of the way and she drove to me again and shook her finger, continued shouting at me "HOW WOULD YOU LIKE IT IF YOU WERE A HOBBIT, SHOW SOME RESPECT". I got the fright of my life, people in shops here are scary, it's like when you see mad sales on TV and everyone is fighting, except just in normal shops. D:

I like Essex though, it's pretty and I like the trains and there's so many pigeons! I went somewhere called Percy Ingles, I think, I got a carrot cake muffin! :O I never got one of those in Ireland.
