Do you think all these latest advancements in technology are getting a bit silly now and going too far or do you think that it's fine as it is and should advance further?

I can see how it makes some people lazier but I think most people are just attracted towards the ingenuity side of it rather than making life easier.

No to be honest we haven't advanced as much as I thought we would. When i was a kid I thought by 2012 we would all be travelling by space ship by now....like in the Jetsons.

It should go a lot further I'd hope. We need to progress

Nah technology allows us to do so much and provides so much assistance that I don't see why people would deliberately want to hinder it

I don't see the point of continually upgrading things that weren't broken but it's all about money

Advances in medicine yes, space exploration no...
We need to look after the world we have.

Yes, it's one of the reasons why there's so many fat people now

People thought in the early 1900's that everything that needed to be invented had already been invented.

There's far more crazy stuff to come yet, just a shame my time on the planet will have past before I get to see it.

If we didn't constantly update, we'd still be in the stupid ages. Hopefully we'll develop renewable energy soon.

Space exploration is also important, sure we need to look after the planet we have, but, why can't we have both?

How is space exploration important? And the "why can't we have both" point is just greedy

If people exercise properly they can stay fit even if they eat loads (presuming its not all the same thing)

Because it's what drives the human race, new discoveries.

It's not greedy, there's some scientists who develop new medicines, there's some that develop new fuels, and there's some who want to go to space.
