The living room just has some new sofas and the kitchen is like a poor mans CBB5.

The wood panelling in the garden is exactly the same but they have thrown in a few winter wonderland twigs to disguise it.

They don't need to make wholesale layout/structural changes. It's unique enough thanks to the vast changes to the decor. And frankly, given the last series ended as recently as September, I doubt they'd have the time to do anything too drastic anyway.

They're still paying for bus posters. Even if they're only airing one TV advert it's still a more extensive advertising campaign than any of Channel 4's post-2006 (excluding 2010, but that was only because it was the last series)

I LOVE the kitchen, it's gorgeous. Quite like the decor in the bedroom too, and the sofas in the lounge are nice.

I, like most others, wish they'd change the layout, but I wasn't holding out for anything or even hoping for one - I'd rather that happened in the summer like it always used to, I don't want another element being added to C5's blatant obsession with CBB over the main show. If we don't get a massive layout change this summer, I'm going to be really pissed off. Now's not the time to be bothered IMO, it's the summer that counts.

Not at all. I just get the overwhelming impression that with certain people, they can't win no matter what they do and they'd criticise no matter how the house looked. I think the new house design is plenty unique, looks fantastic overall and it really doesn't bother me that the bedroom is in the same place as it was last series and I can't really imagine why it would seriously bother anyone else. I didn't expect anything different anyway, especially with just 15 weeks to get it ready.

Plus, it will be the first time most viewers see the new interior. It doesn't matter if the layout is the same or mostly the same. They should show off how stunning it is before they come in and mess it all up.

Why they have him do that I don't know, even if someone has missed the first few housemates go in, they'll see hear who they are and what they're like when they introduce themselves to and interact with the rest going in. They could save 20 minutes just dropping the pre-entrance interview, just ask them one tailored question then let them go in, they never give good answers anyway, they're distracted by the crowd.

For those saying the Pool has been in the same area since CBB8.

You should see the US version, The important rooms and garden haven't moved one bit since BB6 (2005). There's litteratly one room they moved and that's been the spa/gym room. (It's recently been just a room where the hgs can hang out)

The pool and a separate hot tub have been in the same spot for years as well.

I like it, it's very BBUS esque though (Doesn't mean a bad thing, The American Version likes to have themed houses as well but it keeps the feeling of a house at the same time.)

This isn't my favorite house though. But it's pretty good.

I like it, bathroom looks great, garden looks nice and seasonal, kitchen looks neat and tidy, bedroom looks a bit plain but I expect it's not finished yet. One thing that does stand out is the reduction in all the horrid neon lights they had for BB13, I actually prefer this more simple decor, it always looks better on TV anyway. Like the BB11 house was amazing, but it looked a bit of a mess on telly, same for CBB10, all that gold and neon was an eysore, this is much better.
