People on the forum were convinced there was going to be a full ad despite Jamie East saying nothing had been filmed.
So looks like theres nothing, zilch but those 15 second eye flashes.

Tbh i'd say there better anyway.
To the casual's the BB eye is what it is, big brother. Anyone that's had some intrest over it's duration of 12/13 years will reconise the eye.
Where as Mr East, Alice, Emma Willis etc could quite easily be mistaken for a comedy sketch or some crap if you've just flicked through the channels and stumbled upon the ad for a moment or so.

This production team / C5 can't get anything right.

Its to late now.
Number 1 if there had been an ad filmed they would have aired it atleast a week ago to build interest.
Number 2 why would they spend money on something they are only going to air for 5 days?

Id prefer just an eye ad. Only problem is, I've never seen any BB ads on TV.
Probably a blessing in disguise considering how bad the ads normally are

The fact of the matter is, it's only BB fans that watch now. The show doesn't really get casual viewers

I'd rather not have a full ad. It'd bound to feature Brian twirling around in a fur coat scaring viewers away.

Thought of it that way too. Looks like they've given up on getting new ratings. :nono:
Or going the "cool" route and only giving a glimpse to keep it more secretive. I dunno. :conf:

I saw the advert the other day during the 50 Greatest Magic Tricks show. It was just a teaser with no people in it.

Exactly. 5 just can't win  I'd rather eye flashes than Brian hiking up a mountin, getting to the top and saying something beyond cringey like 'things are gonna get frosty!'

Agree, I much prefer the short eye flash with a bit of talk from Marcus to the 1 minute long build-up adverts. It's a blessing that for the first time since UBB we have an advert for Big Brother that hasn't got ex-housemates or presenters splashed all over it! C5 did good on the advertising this time.

Probably the reason were losing our viewers...
