The Celebrity Big Brother 2013 housemates will endure the ‘toughest series ever’ with a ‘dark twist’ planned for launch night, it’s reported.

The Daily Star claims that producers are preparing a ‘string of nasty surprises’ to put the line-up through hell, although details are being kept guarded for the time being.

Meanwhile, the task team are also said to be preparing some of the most challenging tests in Big Brother’s twelve-year history.

An insider said: “Producers want the show to turn nasty for the new series. It’s going to be the house from hell. Celebs will be hoping for an easy ride but bosses have got other ideas.

“Tasks on the first night are usually fun ones but what they’ve got planned this time is horrible. It could completely divide the house and there could be rows starting before the last celeb has even arrived.”

They added: “Every aspect of the show is being tweaked to create plenty of drama. Fans don’t want to see celebs relaxing and having fun, they want to see them under pressure.”

Celebrity Big Brother’s eleventh series kicks off on Thursday at 9pm, with rumoured contestants including Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan, American reality stars Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, and Neighbours actor Ryan Moloney.

To be honest i dont want a twist on launch night.

Just let them settle and form friendships for a few days and then shock the hell out of them.

Secretly play conversations with people they thought they were getting on with, have some secret room like in CBB3 where Caprice crawled into that epace space where she watched John calling her scum.

BB havent had a really good twist since bb7.

Don't the Daily Star say every series will be the 'toughest ever' every year?

Its hardly going to be the evil...est? BB ever with those comfy DHS sofa and faux fur throws scattered about the house.

Brink back the green dildos attached to the walls!

I wish they would just leave well alone on launch night.
Whoever gets the 'task' we can assume are this years favourites.

Why leak stuff about twists before the celebs get in the house, won't be a surprise for them will it.

This is said every year and it never is tough or evil. Also, if its a "secret" task, can it please not involve an earpiece?

I don't think the producers have the same freedom to play around with the CBB format like they have done in the past with non celeb BB. The Celeb version costs them an enormous amount of money with fees for the celebs so they do not want to have some of them evicted within the first day or so.

So I think there is a limit to the "darkness" they can put into the show with Celebs for fear they may create a backlash and risk undermining the whole show.

Better to start slowly and bring to the boil in the first week much more fun...!!!

Probably means they'll be getting alcohol every over day and not every single day :idc:
