The Jim Davidson story has affectively given Channel 5 free advertising for the launch of CBB tonight, in fact its been on the radio all of today, and its breaking news on Sky news this very minute.

Its been confirmed that Jim will NOT enter, but will all the coverage boost ratings? Especially as Channel 5's advertising for the series has been dire.!

There's not much on to be honest, especially for Big Brother target audience:

BBC 1: DIY SOS/BBC NEWS
BBC 2: QUEEN VICTORIA'S CHILDREN/MRS BROWN
ITV1: TROUBLE ABROAD/ITV NEWS
CHANNEL 4: RESTORATION MAN/MILLIONAIRE BOY RACERS
BBC THREE: BAD EDUCATION
ITV2: EVAN ALMIGHTY
E4: 50 GREATEST PLASTIC SURGERY SHOCKERS

It seems to have been in the papers alot more this year even before the Jim arrest there was lots of speculation in the tabloids. Feels like the old days actually especially with words CBB on the front page of the sun and mirror today.

Maybe by 100/200 thousand viewers, can't see a mass turnout tonight, I will say 2.7 at most.

Just seen on 5 the house looks exactly the same on camera which is a shame.
