This may be the most important E3 in many many years. Both Sony & Microsoft are launching their new consoles at a time when consoles are looking like they might now be fighting to remain relevant, and so both companies are going to have to bring the big guns.

Then you have Nintendo trying to get back into the fight after the disastrous year one of Wii U. So as well as all of the good stuff Sony and Microsoft are going to have on show, we've got guaranteed Mario Kart, Smash Brothers 4 and Super Mario. Plus news on the Occulus Rift, and rumours of long awaited returns like Agent, Final Fantasy Versus, The Last Guardian, Kingdom Hearts 3 and Mirror's Edge 2.

This will certainly be interesting.

Playstations are strong as all hell, as well. I take mine apart every 4 or 5 months and vac out the excessive dust with a Dyson(literally right on the cords and all so that it's clean) and put it back together. PS2 bought in 2000 works like a dream in 2013. Literally finished up Kingdom Hearts I with my kids, showing them how to beat Sephiroth, and then the ending a few hours ago, and then we get word that KH III is on its way. It was a fine evening. :) Still have to play KH II once more, and looks like we'll have quite a bit of time before the third one comes out, maybe a few years. :(

When you put it like that, it makes a lot mores sense to pay for it. I mean after I had it for that brief period I was just put off because the games up for grabs weren't.. amazing. So I just made the assumption that it was always gonna be like that. I guess that was pretty dumb in hindsight. :laugh:

Not really, some recent ones have been Hitman Absolution, Mortal Kombat, Sleeping Dogs, Red Dead Redemption, Batman: Arkham City, Ico & Shadow of the Colossus HD and tons more. It's well worth looking into.

The Wii U is quite cheap, I wouldnt say its worth getting just yet though, they need to put more games on the console first. I've got one and its really fun, but there isn't much to play.

Thought it was quite expensive, personally. Looked yesterday and Shopto were down as the cheapest at £250 with no games. Don't understand how it's that expensive. The only 'big' thing is the tablet.
