Okay- so I must admit- I was surprisingly quite optimistic about tonight's launch- seeing that the poor décor and disaster of what they call a house wasn't up to scratch somehow in my mind I figured they'd pull out all the big celebrities- and YES I even thought there was a small chance that Lohan might make an appearance even for a task!
But as that card-board cut out emerged from the armpit of society in which he resides for 90% of the year to once again stumble through the simplistic job of reading from an auto cue in which even he was incapable of I was un-entertained.
Out came the Z listers in their dregs. Out they came as I perched my ear our my window to here the nation chorus at once 'Who'!
Fair-play to channel 5 the twist is not too shabby- except of being constantly reminded of it every 5 minutes- being treated like the fifteen year old screaming creatures that this show is now disastrously aimed at.
Gone are the glory days of channel 4. Gone are the okay days of channel 5 but seriously- any hope I had in CBB is now gone.
Left is a glimmer- and that glimmer is in the form of Spencer and Heidi- hopefully they can be the golden saviours of this series- it's down to them. I'm giving it four days.
FINALLY- why is Brian Dowling still allowed on television? Seriously- he is INCAPABLE of even reading from an auto-cue, I cringe every time he bothers to flirt with anyone. It's ridiculous. Why does he look ridiculous in a suit too?
