So where were all the celebs?

I saw so many rumours like Cilla Black, Meatloaf, Jenna Marbles, Lindsay Lohan and was so disappointed when none of them went in. I only knew Rylan :(

A lot of people say Jenna Marbles isn't famous but I'm pretty sure she's more known than over 95% of that house if not all of them...

I know most of them, and even if I didn't I don't see why it matters. I would rather have Paula (who is already looking promising) than some washed up singer.

Oh good Lord! People wake up! No body with a career will EVER do a show like this. The show is for people doing nothing these days because they haven't got anything to lose. Add to that that the show has far less viewers and awareness now and well...there you go.

They are more likely to get Americans because the show can't destroy their image. But they can't afford any Americans we know. Madsen has barely worked since Kill Bill and I am sure they blew the budget on him.

No Celebrity Series should ever be judged on star power, its about personalities. Jasmin anyone??? Hell the best Celebrity series in most peoples eyes was the 2006 one and that was won by the NONE CELEBRITY.

It's really up to us to decide, but we'll give it a chance, right? There are enough odd characters to have a very good show, imo. Never really gave much credence to having top-notch celebs to carry a show, as they close up and bore the hell out of us. I think this one will be good, Nedusa. shockin line up really. everyone of them are only known to the people who happen to of watched the programe they were in or heard of them i,e watch racing listen to steps from years ago or know who the old footballers are from years ago.

z listers galore must of been extremely cheap to get them as most are one step away from being shelf stackers at tescos lol

I think it is a good line-up and the dynamic of the house has potential. I think the majority of these HMs are well known (to me anyway) and with the exception of Speidi are household names. I suppose the problem at the moment is that the demographic of BB fans has changed over the last couple of years and names such as Paula Hamilton, Gillian Taylforth, Frankie Dettori, etc are not as well known to the current audience as stars from TOWIE etc.
I suppose it is all a matter of opinion. I think these HMs qualify as celebrities, whereas I haven't a clue who Jenna Marbles is. Admittedly, none of these HMs are top-grade A-listers, but CBB has never been about the Madonnas, Tom Cruises and Lady GaGas of this world (and I don't think they would make good HMs anyway).
Very good launch and a potentially excellent cast IMO.

Not the best line-up fame-wise but they look like they've got a few characters in there. At least I recognise most of this lot compared to CBB10 (still should be 1 CBB per year btw)

I agree that people like Sam Robertson, Tricia Penrose, Gillian Taylforth, Razor Ruddock & Paula Hamilton are scraping the barrel somewhat as they have not done a lot recently, but the rest are still in the public eye or are in shows or have been on shows recently...
