I'm starting to like him aswell
He seems the only one in there with any outspoken opinions, and he doesn't seem to bothered about the public opinion of him. He seems quite at ease with himself, which can sometimes be a bit too arrogant. I'm not sure..

I like him as he is the only housemate who has been constant from day 1, he says what he thinks and I really admire him for that. Plus his one liners are hilarious.

I'm so glad he stayed. I still get annoyed by his affected accent, but that's really the only thing I have against him. He's been a lot of fun.

It's the way he seized upon the moment to get Mikey and Spiral back for their joke on Glyn that cracked me up! It was all the encouragement he needed. Spiral couldn't run away fast enough from Rich as he chased him around the house! Mikey says he can take his jokes but that's not what he said in the diary room is it? As I'm liking Richard more, what about you with Glyn?

Hmm still not seeing him for anything else than what I already thought to be honest. Still plenty of time left though.

I've liked Richard from the start. I only started hating Sezer for ganging up on him - that and saying how he was Planing on bullying the newcomers (aislyne and sam) - the thug!:mad::mad:

I find myself liking him at times which is quite disturbing. I laugh at his one liners. He's very quick and witty. I didn't like him when her was being nast about the others and I think it's kind of ironic that he said he was going to pick the plastics off one by one and look what's happened. He's lefe and all of his chums are long gone. Now lets do a head count on the plastics. Hmmmm?

yeah richard's very very witty.yeah i didnt like how he was with michael that time and i really thought he would have got voted out because of that... but lucky for him he survived which i was surprised at.yeah i agree with you

Richard is popular more day by day and the plastics are dull Mikey and Imogen especially. I think Richard would survive V Imogen, Susie, Spiral, Michael, and maybe Mikey he would only go out to Ash, Pete or Glyn.

23-07-2006, 02:18 PM
i hate richard BUT i think the public actually like him.... ive always thought he was guna get it everytime he's been up and he never went, perhaps if i think he ISNT going he shall be shown the door :joker:

He is a great whitty character and has stayed true to himself since day 1. He speaks his mind 100% which you must give him respect for and he isn't scared to say what he feels to the housemates faces.

No he picked a fight with her for no reason when all of his "little gang" were in the wrong. Then when Sezer stood up to him he started trembling and balling his eyes out.

If he was a straight man and had started on Imogen like that then been reduced to tears he would have been a laughing stock. The bloke is a total arse.

No acually Sezar and Mikey and Imogen all ganged up on him and intimidated him into crying. Richard called her dull and boring only because of her previous comments in relating to him.

But Richard was in the wrong for hiding that beer and then trying to lie to Sezr about it! Imogen came out and then Richard decided to try and intimidate her in a sly mannor. He's a fully grown male for god sake! Then when he's matched with another man he can't deal with it.

Hence why Spiral has become hated. He has snapped aggresively at two female housemates. Yet because Richard is gay and said it in a smart-arse voice he got away with it.

GlitterEyes
23-07-2006, 04:11 PM
Wasn't it Leas idea? And Pete & Lisa who hid the beer in the first place? From what I remember they all ganged up on Richard not letting him get a word in egdewise and even Mikey brought Glyn into the convosation which he didn't wish to be apart of.

When Richard bullied Imogen, he had no reason. It was completely irrelevant he completely changed the subject just because he was having a tantrum because he was up for nomination

Yes thank you. So Sezer stuck up for Imogen then Mikey confronted him about being 2faced and talking about people behind their backs using Glyn.

I think Seazer went for Richard as he was trying to reassert himself as top dog after Richard beat him in the arm wrestling. Richard going on at Imogen was the perfect excuse for Sezer to lay into Richard and try and regain esteem points.

Richard is one person who has been himself since the start and he is consistent...a bully on several occasions toward different housemates - Imogen,Michael and Shabaz....repeatedly making unpleasant personal remarks about other housemates - e.g. critisizing Aishleyne's body...made a remark about Wales which offended alot of people ( I am not Welsh by the way)...

Pity he is himself really!

CyberJovi

Well for a start, I really don't think Richard has 'bullied' anyone, if you think that was bullying then you haven't ever been bullied!

Richard voiced an opinion over something that he was asked, it wasn't done aggressively, he just answers a question.

I can't beleive that a sezer fan is saying that richard was in the wrong! How many times did sezer say he was going to bully various people out of the house? and you are still sticking up for him!

Another thing, implying that Richard got away with 'bullying' because he is a gay man is rubbish. whatever you say, it was clear to see that Richard was ganged up on, and if anyone at that moment in time was being bullied it was Richard.

I can easly say that sezer and mikey got away with it because they are younger and not was buffed up, but they didn't because sezer isn't in the house anymore and mikey is going to be out very soon!

Richard is a top housemate, he's the only witty housemate in there, his one liners and nominations are quailty.

How people can say Dickie bullied Imogen by just saying she is false, dull boring, i dont know, he didn;t say it in a agressive way, just politely pointed it out to her, and he was spot on.

If you think what Richard did to Imogen is enough for him to be labelled a bully, then we could find incidents that have happened which are worthy of labelling every housemate a bully.

Richard isn't a bully, he just speaks his mind, and sticks up for himself. The only comedian left in the house.

I think the issues with Richard is that people are only NOW starting to understand his humour. The likes of Jayne understood it right away and she knew to take what he said with a pinch of salt. All his one liners are classic and he is the only housemate who has stayed true to himself and said exactly what he thinks at the time. Ok some of his comments may be blunt and harsh but that is just him expressing how he feels at the time. He is one of the best housemates without a doubt this year. He is a housemate who stands up and says what he thinks and doesn't sit on the fence like Imogen etc. All of you Richard fans if you haven't already join the Rich fanclub in the housemates section:thumbs:

Richard was ganged up on, yeah right. He had all of his friends with him aswell, they just didn't bother to stick up for him. But why is it fine for richard to lay into Imogen when it was completely irrelevant? He bitches behind their backs and acts like he's all arrogant, but when they actually argue he just backs off. Like with the rat incident, and the argument with sezer and imogen. He never thinks of a decent argument, he just resorts to personal insults, like with Michael. He likes winding people up who are less powerful in the house than he is. It's so bleeding obvious.

GlitterEyes
26-07-2006, 03:28 PM
Imogen told Rich what she thought of him,....so he did the same back. He was ganged up upon by Sezar Imogen and Mikey he couldn't get a word in edgeways. He has played jokes on most of the housemates in there but people don't get to see it all on the main show. First of all RICHARD did NOT hide the beer. That was someone else.

The whole thing with Michael was that he went in with a preconceived view from the outside and hasn't ONCE tried to put that aside, he takes any chance to pick an arguement with him and make things into a huge deal. In the secret house he made it clear that there would be no gay relationship with Richard and he couldn't stand him. You see Richard trying to get on with everyone but Michael just isn't willing to try and therefore see's his role as trying to bring Dickie down...he thinks this will make him popular. But it will not.

Both Imogen and Sezer didn't, Sezer told rich that he didn't want the booze because of the principle. Then they started arguing, and Richard said that she was "dull plastic" and "ordinary"

Because they thought he was talking crap, and i'm not sure if he was, that's why they all wanted to set the record straight at the same time. They were angry, what do you expect?

I never said he did.. The joke was stupid anyway, all of them that hid it were morons, it may have been a practical joke, but the reason they did it was spiteful and greedy.

I think Michael doing that was stupid, i'm not denying that, there isn't really much point in saying it. The fact is, richard has been trying to wind him up acter they had one of the more civilised arguments.

You have to realise though he is surrounded by kids, I think anyone his age would feel like he is an outsider at times and if he can;t beat them join them kind of attitude. When being surrounded with younger people its only a matter of time before some of that also rubs off on them.
