Superb figures!!

Hardly superb.

It was only slightly up on the summer series and this was a big eviction with a twist promised.

It is superb for ch 5.

I honestly can't think of any other show on the network that consistently pulls in the ratings CBB does every night, not to mention the huge launch figures and boost on finale nights.

Until 5 grows as a network and pulls in bigger audiences for more shows etc, BB is going nowhere

The only downfall would be viewer fatigue..after like 6 series in 18months. I'd argue the hardcore is 2million, and they don't seem to be going anywhere judging off this series.

Five need to drum up casual intrest which unfortunately isn't happening.

I'd seriously throw a million+ at a big name celebrity who could intrest the casuals. I don't think the CBB audience is gunna expand more then what it is now, unless a big name comes in. Where that money comes from i have no idea, i'm sure they can find cutbacks somewhere.

Its not "superb".

And last CBB there was no "boost" on finale night. It only pulled in 2.2 million.

How can you say 2.2 million INCLUDING +1 is superb?

Channel 5 does ok in the ratings with other shows you need to do some research.

I'm not trying to be negative but you really need to be realistic.

Daniel what would you be happy with viewing figures wise, consider into your equation that this isnt channel 4 anymore (which i dont think youve ever got over and mars your opinions) and will never get 6-7 million of BB7 heyday

For a 13 year old tv show on fairly modest tv channel id say 2-2.5 million is pretty darned good

What are you on about? I have never said it would match Channel 4 figures and never expected it to.

I think the highlights should be getting 2.5 a night for it to be really called "superb".

Thats not to big a jump but they are currently getting about 2 million then factoring +1 takes it up to 2.2.

The interest is there as seen on launch nights but for some reason casual viewers arnt sticking with it.

Even the more optomistic ratings fanatics on here lol are admitting that those ratings are down on what they expected.

So Daniel, do you think C5 will axe CBB with the current ratings?

Like Sexy Ellie said, this isn't the C4 days.

Technically it will be more than that cause we only had bb on one tv but 4 people were watching it in my house!!! :[
