The Postman always rings twice

Do you find you post well delivered or is it always a nightmare? Ours is okayish but comes at all random times and sometimes they don't even bother to knock when there's a package, just puts that silly red leaflet through the letterbox. I think we have about 3 different ones that come though

We have a box on the gate of our house, our post man is pretty nice though, he'll usually brave our annoying dog barking at him and come in if there's a package for us. I usually get any packages sent to my work address though, there's always someone here

Our postman is brilliant, he leaves any packages round the back, and puts a note through the letter box, and he puts a treat for the dog through the letter box each morning, I hate it when he is on holiday.:bawling:

I've never noticed any abnormal issues with my postman haha

Our post is awful. So hit and miss. Sometimes comes at 9am, sometimes at 4 and sometimes not at all. My OH does a lot of selling on eBay and we post a lot of packages and so many go missing it drives me mad. Am sure that some of it is not all the post office's fault but the post is not what it used to be.

The postman who comes to our Uni house is pretty good and always comes about 10.30 every day, the one at home is a great bloke but can come pretty late some days, he knows us though so if any letters have our name on it but the wrong address he'll get them to us still which is good

Maybe its just yours, I work from home and take parcels in for neighbours where the parcelforce guy not only knocks on the delivery door but the neighbours on either side as well. It also depends on the company delivering as some will only allow delivery to the address on the parcel. Sorry Arista you are just being a grump.:joker:

Well my father has been off work so whenever the postman knocks he can collect the mail. If somebody is not in the postman sometimes leaves it to the side of the house if it is small or sometimes a card through the door.
