I had Instant about a month ago only cos taking the trial for free gave you £15 cashback on Quidco - there was bugger all to see on instant at the time to qualify (had to watch 3 hours or so). I'd put some random crapola on the laptop with the sound down then watch Sky!

Reached S5 now, thank god S4 is over, The Initiative storyline was boring as hell, and Adam was a weak villian, I mean, you know if you are a bad villian if the season finale isnt even about you.

I'm nearing the episode where Buffy's mum dies, it's gonna be quite hard watching these episodes, especially seeing as it will be ten years this friday since I lost my own mum.

Aside from all that, I love season 5, Glory is such a good big bad, especially after the crappy intiative and Adam

Yeah, it really got to me when I first watched it back in like 2000/1 :bawling: Don't think I ever saw Tara's, think that might have been when it moved from BBC Two to Sky.

Aw, I like Dawn, she's annoying, but she is a teenager afterall lol. The main thing I like about S5 is having the Magic Box as the base of operations, works much better than Giles' house did.

The Body is one of the best acted episodes of American TV I've ever seen.

How Sarah Michelle Gellar didn't get an Emmy nod for it still baffles me, Emma Caulfield is great too, Anya trying to understand loss makes me cry every time I watch that episode.

British actor Robin Sachs, best known for his role in the hit TV series Buffy The Vampire Slayer, has died at the age of 61.

His villainous character Ethan Rayne was the arch enemy of regular character Giles, played by Anthony Head.

The London-born actor also played the evil General Sarris opposite Tim Allen in Galaxy Quest.

His ex-wife Casey Defranco called him "a wonderful person, extraordinarily talented as an actor."

Staff on his official website wrote: "Please join us in raising a glass to Robin - goodbye, dear friend. Thank you for all the laughter and the cookies. We will miss you so very much."

Sachs' first role was with the British Hammer film studio, in the movie Vampire Circus.

He went on to play Adam Carrington in the 1991 miniseries Dynasty: The Reunion when the original actor Gordon Thomson was unavailable.

Sachs worked on several sci-fi shows, with appearances in Babylon 5, Star Trek: Voyager and Torchwood: Miracle Day.

His stage work included touring productions of Hamlet and Twelfth Night.

In 1999, he appeared heavily disguised under layers of heavy make-up as the baddie Sarris in the satirical comedy Galaxy Quest, which co-starred Sigourney Weaver and Alan Rickman.

Later in his career, Sachs provided voices for several video games including Mass Effect 2 and 3 and Resident Evil Damnation.

Same here, though at the same time, it was quite sad, I think she deserved to be in them full time.

I've noticed S7 Dawn has a lot more character than in S5/6, it's also nice having old Willow back (though obviously not as happy go lucky as she once was)

I didn't get the hate for S4. It was better than the first half of S5 IMO (controversial), but the 2nd half of S5 is what made that season incredible.

Conversations with Dead People is by far my fave episode of S7 and in the Top 5 of all time.

Sadly yes, he killed Buffy for me as the writing had to go all twisted just to keep him on the show, plus the show lost it's geeky roots because of him I think.

Don't worry you're not on your own as my Mom and Dad found him funny as well, but I just thought that the only time he belonged on the show and actually served a purpose was in season 2, season 4 onwards could have easily still carried on without him imo.
