Is Rylan fake?

Do you think Rylan is fake, playing up to the cameras etc or do you think thats the way he really is?

I am shocked that I actually like Rylan on this show when I couldnt stand him on xfactor, he's made me laugh a lot during the highlight shows, and I do think he's being himself in there.

I have to be honest I did not watch xfactor - I have liked Rylan from the start he made me laugh :D Im not sure really how to look at a person as 'fake' I think he is being himself having fun..a flamboyant character witha heart of gold for other people.. many occasions he has put others needs before his own...I respect that :D IMo great guy :D

But his 'thicko act' is definitely fake, everybody on X Factor was talking about how intelligent he is.

I didn't like Ryland on the Xfactor and was not keen on him being in the BB house,but over the days he has made me laugh and seems to say what he thinks,so for me I like him much more now,yes he bitches,but so do they all.

I think he is very fake but it has not done him any harm. Maybe he is being himself but I really squirm everytime I see him on TV. I couldn't watch x-factor because of him and I'm only watching CBB because of Speidi.

I think he's the most genuine housemate in there. he appears exactly the same as on x factor and I doubt he could put an act up for that long especially as that's how all his friends describe him :hugesmile:.

I personally think Rylan's just being himself and his fans wouldn't have it any other way. He certainly does liven the place up when we have been subjected to watch Speidi sit with a face on them like a bulldog chewing a wasp.

I wouldnt say he is fake, thats a bit strong . He certainly knows how to milk a situation and can camp it up when needed but to say he is fake is borderline. When it comes to acting thick, that is definately an act and he does play up to the cameras but i would rather say he is a very clever act that will make it big by doing what is needed at the right time and the right way. He is lovable and funny but I think he has adopted a persona that suits his needs and like every good celebrity (A lister or Z lister) he treats the world as his stage and works it accordingly. Just as Speidi uses conflict to suit their aims, Rylan uses campness and one liners to suit his so if you say he is fake, then you must also say Spaidi are fake. On reflection I prefer to think of Rylan as funny and calculated and Speidi as friendless and nasty.

he plays the game acts up every chance he gets buts into every convo to gain air time. and manages to turn everything around to being about him and his jouney LOL now that is smart and very fake.
sneaky eyed orc anyway. notice how he doesn't look at people as well .
when spencer called him fake he loved it it was just what he wanted his moment in the spotlight finally a row that he'd been begging for since he first went in. then came the very rehearsed osca winning speech he made about his jouney lol. which had nothing to do with the argument but he made sure he done it and turned it around to him. ..............smart very very smart and very calculated.

Rylan's been a favourite of mine from the beginning. Hes funny as **** but also throws in a few deep serious thoughts and convos for good measure. Been great to watch and I believe he is very real.

This. He rides the fence on most things and plays to the cameras quite a bit, but can't control his actual personality at times. I can like and dislike him for any given episode. He's maddening.
