Did anyone else find Heidi's speech about Spencer weird?

There is nothing wrong with loving and admiring your husband of course but jeezo I found the way she randomly started to ramble on weird as hell, it was as if she was in a trance just rhyming off lots of nice things about him.

It was cringeworthy..was just too much of it... Im not sure if she was trying to reassure herself or what but it's great she loves him however, going on and on like she did.. people lost interest listening to it! she has yet to master the stop talking when people roll their eyes..or look like they are falling asleep she seems to need an audience to say things like that quietly to spencer would have seemed a better way of doing it.. instead of a speech to the HM's

The word cringeworthy springs to mind. It was way over the top and definately scripted and designed to impress. I got the feeling it wasnt brought on by anything, it was thrown out there and part of a massive plan to try and shift or deflect their nastiness to humbleness now they know they are in the bottom 4.

These professionals are good, but sadly no matter how hard they try, the best they can do is 4th. They would be better getting out now and get 1 week of BBots under their belt then a mag deal. As it is they are just showing how false they are. The speech was the rantings of a desparate woman and did you see when he walked in, it was bang on cue and strangely he seem to know what the speech was about even though he was out of the room the whole time. Very very poor attempt to curry favour.Yet another part of their game plan.

The speech wasnt live so they wouldnt have known they were in the bottom 4.

Absobloodylutely. scripted and desparately accurate in her little twisted mind. They have no friends and are isolated in their own little world. her rantings were little more than an excuse to the outside world to try and make us believe she was so into him as her only one bla bla bla, when the truth is she has no-one else and wants to make people think she is happy.

There's discussing, then there's the dimwit pitchfork bandwagon crew, who keep droning on about the same old bs every day, in multiple different threads about the same bloody thing, if you want to keep bitching about them make 1 thread, not multiple threads about the same thing...it's also known as trolling.

Didn't this board used to have a thread per housemate (might have been somewhere else if not here) so that discussions about a particular housemate were located in one thread. Rather than multiple stealth threads that pretend to be something else but are actually just the same old bs again and again.

Maybe that's something the moderators could think about.

This is the only thread discussing Heidi's speech about Spencer on this forum so how is it multiple threads about the same thing? and theres no ulterior motive to it, I genuinely wanted to discuss other peoples opinions on it you know like you normally do on a forum, I'm sure if you check back through my post history you will see I created a few threads in this section today and only this one was about Speidi.

Also no there has never been a thread per housemate rule on this forum you must be thinking of another one.

Other people are allowed opinions and can express them daily if they feel contestants on a show aired daily do things that annoy them daily. You are clearly not shy about expressing your opinion and putting others' down, so show some respect to others who wish to do the same thing. It's a forum!

Kissing and showing affection is completely different to randomly making a speech that sounds as if it's been rehearsed over and over IMO.

For all we know it was probably brought on by a conversation or chain of events that occurred prior to that - but of course we'll never know for obvious reasons.

I'd have rolled my eyes, laughed in her face and told her to get a grip. Ridiculously soppy mush. "I've prayed for him since I was 2" - if that had been a mate, who here wouldn't have ripped the piss for at least a year? It clearly made Tricia uncomfortable. In a "normal" conversation, there is room for dialogue, but at what point in that speech would Tricia have been able to comfortably respond with "I see where you're coming from but I find him to be a petulent, self-absorbed, controlling and resentful little turd."? (if that IS her opinion of him)

Did a little search and yes there was and it worked a lot better than just having random threads (that all end up being about the same thing anyway.

And just to point that wasn't just aimed at people on here, maybe my phrasing was a little off, and to be honest, it's not as insulting as some of their comments.

And if it's an open thread I should be able to post my view also, anyway my point was that the forum looks too clogged the way it is now.

I didn't say it was a rule, by thread I meant the sub forums (I know that now) it's a lot better to have individual spaces so that people can talk about the housemates they want to talk about, (for or against) but without being overrun by threads about housemates they don't want to talk about. As it seems, that everybody is being forced to talk about spencer and heidi because that's more or less every other thread topic.

I mean there must be people who want to talk about Tricia :laugh3:
