Its a god given gimme that he is a nut job but very few people question why Heidi puts up with him. I think he has her brainashed and so subserviant to his persona that she has lost touch with reality. Said he was a psycho about a week ago. Its obvious he is a bit anti -social - Thats putting it mildly - and Heidi seems to just go along with it and even at times seems to egg him on slightly. He seems to dislike people before they get a chance to dislike him and revels in making people feel uncomfortable. If you get the chance, watch the episode of the Hills where he takes Heidi mum out to lunch. He was very ignorant to her and was clearly trying to wind her up with his silence/ monosylabic answers. It was him supposed to be taking her out and then he gives her the silent treatment!!!!! Why act like that with his wifes family? Only he knows but he's definitely a little sociopathic.

What I remember them saying was that season 1 of the show was more or less unscripted with scripted events. After that when it became popular it was fully scripted with very few "real" moments.

I've never seen it, but I know it's the same as all those crappy english copycat shows that none of us needed, what's the point of a documentary unless it's real?

I posted what I remember them saying when they were talking to someone in the house, they said first season was just them and cameras following them, after that, it was scripted, either way it was "real" to begin with
