Coldplay. I do like Rihanna but when they 'collaborated' together it was just a huge cop out.
Nicki copped out when she tasted success Super Bass, but after the flack she got for it, I think shes learned her lesson :suspect:
I think every artist who released a dancey/electropop album between 2009-2012 copped out as well :hmph: (Britney, Gaga, Rihanna, Xtina, Madonna, JLo) in some cases it paid off better than others..

Well I would have said Florence working with Calvin Harris was a cop out, just to get a number 1, but screw it, the Spectrum remix and Sweet Nothing are both bliss so it doesn't count...
Also Sia working with David Guetta AND Flo Rida. Still love her though.
Tbh anyone who works with Guetta/Flo Rida/Pitbull is a cop out...
Joelle.

Marina and the Diamonds tbh. :idc: Just compare Electra Heart with the Family Jewels and it's obvious how she just went for dance music to get chart success.

I have both albums, She hasn't sold out at all. I'm a huge fan of Marina, shes always had catchy songs on both albums. For Instance, Hollywood, Oh No! & Shampaign. They're not much different, albums are meant to have a different direction. She changed a little to make the album different, but both albums are pop. I completely disagree

Pop artists can't sell out, they've already sold their souls to record labels to do whatever they want to them

Dot Rotten and Ghetts working with Cher Lloyd ruined any credibility they spent years working on.
