It will be a sad sorry state of affairs if they walk now. Poor losers would spring to mind... I am far from their biggest fan but I can appreciate what they have done for this series but I would lose all respect for them completely if they walk out when they get punished for refusing to do a fundamental part of the BB game which is the tasks.

- Heidi kicking up a fuss about Lacey being naked, her and Tricia (first time she did anything) visibly annoyed
- Two days of hilarity in the Basement as they delivered some classic lines about their fellow housemates
- Spencer understanding how dull the rest of them are, even telling BB that it's a sh*t cast and that all they do is sleep, and that they need to 'turn it up a notch'

The reasons I listed start debates. Pretty much every post, let alone thread you've made this series has been about Speidi. I'm being serious here, do you not get that if they weren't in the house, what exactly would you and practically every viewer of this series have to talk about?

Discussion increases interest, interest increases viewing figures, increased viewing figures keeps the show alive and stable. As opposed to:

Little discussion, high viewer apathy, decreased viewing figures, the show is axed. It's actually common sense.

A show like Big Brother thrives off of discussion; forums like this would crumble if day in, day there was nothing happening in the house, shows like Bit On The Side would have nothing to talk to about, people in school and work would have nothing to mull over the next morning and say 'did you see Speidi and Rylan's argument last night, who's side were you on?!'. That kind of thing is integral to this show. If you don't have people talking about the show, be it the public, or indeed the press (and no paper is going to print stories of low interest, i.e. anything that's not an interesting event) then nobody cares about the show. You wouldn't watch a soap if it were full of extras and the duller characters and everyone got on would you? They thrive on drama just as much as this show does.
