I doubt he was being a spokesperson for the public considering they have all said how surprised they are the public keep Speidi in. You see that's where interpretation is different for everyone.

You forget this is a show where they are being filmed 24hrs a day (when they can be bothered to be in the house ;) ) Rylan, who says he is a big fan of the show, will know that, and by saying "nobody wants you here" even if he's saying it about the other housemates, what he's actually doing is saying (very loudly so all the cameras and mics pick it up) is, "look at me public, listen to what I'm saying, we all hate them, if you like us, get rid of them"

It's what people do when they are having an argument.
