Speidi or the rest of the house? seeing as it was basically literally them against everyone

Even though I do quite like Speidi, probably my 2nd or 3rd favourites, felt myself siding more with the rest of the house. They were just being unnecessarily harsh really and were just being dicks for the sake of it, can understand why they didn't want to do the task but not really any need to just rub it in afterwards. I also don't really want to just watch them lying in bed sniggering away and feeling really pleased with themselves, it's boring and just quite awkward to watch. I know barely anyone else will think this but for me the best part of the episode was actually nothing do with all the letters drama, and was just Razor and Rylan making that heap of snow land on Tricia's head, I don't agree with the idea that fights & arguing always = entertainment

Speidi tbh, I think Rylan blew it all out of proportion and he was the one who made Claire upset by shouting that Heidi clapped and laughed in Claires face, which was completely untrue

Speidi, The other housemates were being ridiculous and it was hilarious how they all talked big in the living room but none of them even tried to confront Speidi in the bedroom. Speidi ran rings around them all and they didn't even have to say a single word to do so.

Speidi, like they keep saying it's a game and it made great TV rather them all just huddling round and having a sob over their letters like every year.

21-01-2013, 10:15 PM
I could understand Speidi not doing the task, then when the reveal came, I felt like Heidi wasn't clapping with any harsh intentions, but then Rylan made it seem much more nasty than it was, and so Spencer continued it to annoy him, and both sides were wrong from then on.

So on the whole, I side with Speidi, because if the rest of them had just let it lie, everyone would've been fine.

Definitely for me the rest of the house, Rylan was just saying what everyone else was thinking.
I found Spencer and Heidi an even greater turn off tonight. I would have thought slightly better of them had they not read their own letter, awful display of bad selfishness and unnecessary too.

However,I do agree with those who say they have only been away from their families for 2 weeks,so I myself wouldn't be bothered as to getting a letter.
I think letters are a better consideration in the longer normal BB series.

Whinging nonstop in that stupid Essex accent whilst being a twat... Pathetic
Refusing to open their letters in the worlds most dramatic way as if they were deciding which baby fetus to abort... Pathetic

There should be an option for none of them, bunch of emotional drama queens.

Speidi. Claire gets paid to be in that house and it's only four days away. When they were clapping it wasn't out of malice, was only cos of the awkwardness so I guess it was a natural reaction. They only did it more and started laughing in the bedroom because they knew it would annoy Rylan who was blatantly using the situation to get some camera time which pissed them off as it was making them look bad.

It made sickening watching. To do what they did and then take delight in the peronal pain it caused was beyond playing a game. They are two of the most conceited selfish people ever to watch....and that was not entertaining. They are incapable of thinking of anyone but themselves...and PLEASE dont tell me its part of their game. To clap at the misfortune of a mother not getting a precious letter written by her children is beyond human nature.... they thought of maybe hurting Claire but gave no thought to the child/children who wrote it.
I hope they never become parents for the mere fact that they are way to selfish and self absorbed.

I pity them.... they must be two very sad human beings.

Breaks down like this:

Speidi have a point about there only being 4 days left. I've always thought celebrities should just shut up and get on with it, it's the same in IAC as well, all this crying when they've been away from home for two weeks - have these people never been on a two week holiday before? In the civilian series it's two months before they get their letters - now that's understandable.

Didn't agree with them clapping and laughing though, that was a bit nasty - but I'm talking in personal terms here.

In terms of the show them clapping just made for a better episode and will increase tensions and of course discussion, what are we all doing here right now - discussing it of course. So it's beneficial in that respect.

All they had to do was to be apart for three hours anyway. If anything they should have thanked Big Brother for giving them an opportunity to have a normal human healthier marital relationship.
Rylan, again begging for airtime made out like it was all his business and nobody else's.
Claire should have saw this coming, obviously they're all going to get the letter anyway because it makes good TV, and its happened this way for the last like 20 series'

I agree with you, it must be a good and proud moment, especially for Children of a housemate, to hear their letter read out on TV to their Parent in BB.
It was grossly insensitive and selfish for Spencer and Heidi to totally disregard that.
I could never agree with their actions.

I think they'd have considered doing it depending on what it was though, they've said they weren't gonna do tasks before and ended up going through with them, think they just depend on each other too much and genuinely couldn't stand to be separated

they're only staying true to themselves.

Who exactly is their true selves?? Cause after nearly 3 weeks Im none the wiser, they change like the wind. They are completely contradictory and totally hypocritical. Its fine to hate the other HMs for being OTT about some letters, by all means. But to SIDE with those to worms of human beings who are so lost in their own reality TV personas they don't even know who they are anymore is sad. You could see the weird mixture of tension and embarrassment on their faces after the clapping incident (specially Heidi) as she tried desperately to justify what she'd done even to herself.

Like Rylan said, it was one thing to fail the task thats part of the game, whatever. But to clap and take pleasure in the fact someone lost their letter was just low, and pathetic, showed them for the vindictive worms they are. They keep banging on about how 'everyone hated them' but actually until they acted like total bellends nobody 'hated' them at all. People thought they were odd, which they are, but even in that first secret room task very little of what was said was that bad at all considering they spent 90% of their time whining or hiding under a duvet.

Speidi just owns them everytime xD

They really didnt, Rylan made them look like scolded children in that final part then they sat silently staring at their own laps then skulked off for another bitching session all alone.

SO they are being real and playing the game by not being real... yeah RIGHT

So let me run that by again, being real + not being real. Seriously Speidi supporters need to sort out which it is. They are either 'brutally honest' or 'playing a great game' it cannot be both sadly for you.

SO they are either dicks with the social skills of a sociopath or total fakes. Either way great people to support Im sure.

Rest of the house obviously. From a humanitarian standpoint, everyone bitching about how Claire's a fat lard who shouldn't have gone on the show if she couldn't stand to be away from her kids for three weeks, but yet there's no problem with Speidi refusing to separate for HOURS. Really though.

And from an entertainment standpoint, all Speidi did was some weak ass clap and then walk away and avoid everyone. That's not entertaining, once again it's pathetic and cowardice. If they were ~the greatest villains ever~ like people try to act like then they would've actually stood their ground and defended themselves to the others. They've never bitched anyone out until their backs were against the wall, they're just pussies.
