I think she came off better than Beyonce after her song, Kelly chatted a bit and paid attention to the Pres, when Beyonce just let him kiss her once on the cheek and when he motioned to kiss her on the opposite cheek, she walked off :laugh:

Beyoncé just wrapped up a live pre-Super Bowl press conference. She began by addressing the inauguration backing-track controversy in the most effective way possible: by giving a performance of "The Star-Spangled Banner" a cappella. "Any questions?" she asked the delighted crowd of reporters.

They had questions galore, many of which were about the backing track, all of which were posed fawningly. It certainly wasn't the most enlightening press conference ever held, but it was a remarkable little summary of American celebrity deification and its attendant cycle of faux scandals.

According to Vulture, she said, "I am a perfectionist. I practice till my feet bleed. I didn't have time to practice with the orchestra. So due to the weather, due to the delay, due to no proper sound check, I did not feel comfortable taking the risk."

But, she added, "I will absolutely be singing live [at the Super Bowl]. I am well-rehearsed and I will be singing live," she told the crowd. "This is what I was born to do... I always sing live."

As for the rumors that she'll be performing at this year's Grammy Awards: "Who said I was performing at the Grammys? I don't know if I'm performing at the Grammys," she said, laughing.

When probed about her plans for a tour to support her forthcoming album, she said: "When am I going back on tour? I would say soon. I may have an announcement after the [Super Bowl] performance-- fans should just stay tuned to see."

In the dwindling moments of the conference, the mic was handed off to a reporter from Denmark, who worked up the courage to hammer home the truly difficult question. "What color is your toothbrush?", he asked. "I love your question! It's multicolored," Beyoncé replied. "Blue and white... blue and yellow, maybe?" We can safely assume Bey is now consulting her vast archives of footage of her tooth-brushing routine so she's better prepared for this one next time.
