An Australian woman has accused her neighbour of attempting to steal her dog's sperm.
Jessica Pickering, of Darwin, claims that her neighbour has been placing her dog in her back garden in an attempt to get Pickering's husky - named Komet - to impregnate her, news.com.au reports.
Pickering said: "She didn't ask for permission and if she did ask for permission I would have agreed but a profit is just an added bonus. I bought Komet as a pet, not to breed him.
"I guess she was too selfish to share the profits."
Pickering was told of the alleged incident by a house-sitter while she was on holiday.
The 24-year-old recalled: "I got a phone call from my house-sitter stating that someone had put their dog into my yard so that she could be bred with mine."
