View Full Version : What's all this "for the sake of our marriage" crap about?

It seems a default stance to do or not do whatever they want, but what logic is there in this? "I thought they'd separate us for a day, like in the basement..." - So what? Does Spencer have to squeeze her tummy when she goes for a number 2? Is their marketing power as a cohesive duo the basis of their relationship? Why would other housemates care about such a ridiculous excuse when their other halves aren't even in the house?

They are a loving couple and like spending most of their time together.
Nothing at all wrong with it.

Yep, of course its a load of rubbish. If you cant go a few hours without your partner then you have some serious issue's.

They are not married, they are 2 people persuing a dream of fame by using eachother and have been drawn together because they are hated by everyone so they find solice in eachothers arms but happilly married is at best a stretch and at worst a deliberate scam for money and fame.

Every couple is different. They're sticking together because they're isolated from the rest of the housemates.

Heidi wasn't hated until she got together with Spemcer though, to be fair. According to a friend of mine more familiar with them than I am (I've never seen them in any other shows), it wasn't just her looks that changed when she got together with him, she basically had a personality transplant as well. Doesn't surprise me. Seen that kind of thing happen irl as well, it's pretty messed up.

I couldn't spend every second of every day with somebody as they do, it would drive me mad, I do find that a bit weird but that's me, we're all different, thankfully!.

In the grand scheme of things it's a non issue.

Its all part of the fake act ,what are they going to do when they both get a job at McDonalds if they put them on different shifts ?
They would rather spend time with each other rather than HM's that they dislike and who dislike them, seems logical.

They are full of sh*t basically & roll out that & other excuses for when they don't want to do something... They like going on about their 'beliefs' too, which they used as an excuse for not kissing in the house, yet Heidi was quite happy to toss Spencer off under the duvets. Dirty buggers.

Suffering from bad memory, eh? No worries, you're forgiven. ;)
On a serious note though, that's the only regular UK BB I've seen. I usually only watch CBB. But yeah, Louise was my girl all the way through.

I liked Faye a lot in the beginning as well, she was my 2nd fave after Lou. What happened to change that I won't go into, it'd probably be a bit too much derailing for this thread. :joker:

Or there's the real answer... Spencer controls Heidi. He has forced her to cut ties with her friends and family, and it's only very recently that she's even attempted to make amends with her mother, the woman Spencer refers to as "just a vagina". They will not separate because Spencer has conditioned Heidi to believe that she cannot talk to people or be on her own without him. When she says vicious things, she's saying them for his approval. Over many years he has taught her what to say and do to make him happy and what not to say and do to not make him mad.
It's a bit scary to see a textbook emotionally abusive relationship turned into a fandom on tv.

This is a good post, but sadly it will be wasted on those that cant or wont try to understand what it means.
